Colleges and Universities in KPK to Observe Longer Winter Break

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced an extension of winter vacation for all public and private colleges and universities in the province.

According to details, the Higher Education Department has officially declared that all public and private universities will now remain closed until January 5.

This decision comes a day after the announcement of extended winter breaks for schools in the province. Schools across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will reopen on January 7 instead of the previously scheduled date.

The provincial education authorities had announced that winter vacation for both schools and universities would end on December 31. However, due to persistent cold weather, the holidays have been extended for the safety and convenience of students and staff.
