Intermediate Islamiat

Students often take Islamiat for granted in FSc Pre-Medical part 1 and do not spend enough time on its preparation. They fail to understand how many marks they can gain from Islamiat and improve their overall score. Since Islam is the religion and way of life for a large majority of the population, most students are already aware of basic doctrine however they also need to add references and details at the intermediate level. This is why Teach Pakistan has put together a course that covers the Pillars, Holy Texts, history, and legacy of the religion. We have simplified the contents so students can achieve the maximum score in this subject.

A Comprehensive Course on Intermediate Islamiat

Since Pakistan is the Islamic Republic, it is the responsibility of the schools to impart religious knowledge to the younger generation. Islamiat in ICS part-1 is taught as a subject from early years, and it is a compulsory exam for first-year intermediate students as well. This subject is taught in Urdu to make it easier for students to understand the terminology and since it is the language of instruction in homes and mosques. The purpose of teaching Islamiat is to broaden the understanding of every child and allow them to use critical thinking skills and reference books to adopt Islamic practices in their daily lives.

The course covers a diverse range of subjects beginning with the Articles of Faith and what it means to be a Muslim. The first portion of the syllabus also covers the rights Islam has awarded to every family relation and segment of society. As Muslims we have a responsibility towards other members of the community as well and being an upstanding citizen is also a part of our faith. These are supported with examples from the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) and his Companions. The second part deals with selected Quranic Texts and Ahadith along with their interpretation.

Our Innovative Approach to Islamic Education

ULearn approaches the course the same way we deal with other subjects. Every lesson is broken down into short video lectures which are easy for the student to watch without getting distracted. These videos are shot with high-definition camera equipment to create a realistic virtual classroom experience. We use the story-telling principle to highlight the significance of each topic and build the student’s interest. The lightboard is used to write down important dates, Ayat numbers, and figures to illustrate the concept. Since the medium of instruction is Urdu our lectures are also in that language to make sure students are familiar with the right terminologies and phrases.

Most of the students struggle with the long essay questions in the Islamiat exam of FSc Pre-Engineering part 1. We include exercises and tips to attempt any type of multiple-choice, short, or long question in the final exam. Our instructors have years of experience teaching Intermediate students so they know how you need to prepare for every topic and which one is the most important from the examiner’s point of view. Our lectures and notes combined with these tips can help auditory and visual learners memorize the information and get ready for the final exam.

Teaching Pedagogy:

As the advocate of contemporary learning, Ulearn brings another classical teaching method to incorporate in modern learning. The teaching pedagogy that we use here is a one on one learning method that involves a directive approach towards the acquisition of knowledge. This approach means that the student and the teacher are indulged in direct sessions to accumulate the correct learning. In the beginning, this direct learning method was only considered a luxury. However, Ulearn's mass learning approach with interactive videos offers this luxury to every child in their learning experiences.

The 7 Learning Techniques:

The exclusivity that Ulearn’s teaching methods provide does not end here. Along with providing ease to learn anytime anywhere, Ulearn also provides education according to the seven learning techniques. In the seven learning techniques, a child is targeted through all the sensory learning skills. From visual, aural, kinesthetic, to social, solitary, verbal, and logical, we target all the sensory areas of output for the pupil to have a better understanding of their learning needs. In addition, we also provide flexibility of time, so the students don’t have to rush into learning altogether.

Good Students and Better Muslims

Since Islamiat is more than a subject for Muslims, we realize the responsibility on our shoulders. Our aim is to equip every student with authentic knowledge about their religion, its practices, and their religions. We also focus on helping them understand the Quran not only so they can answer exam questions but also so they know that it is a complete guide for life. If you study Islamiat with complete dedication then you can also pass the exam of the Hereafter.
