FSc Urdu Part 2
The Urdu language has many complex words and turns of phrases that a young student should be familiar with. These are used frequently in day-to-day communication as well as official notices. This is why Urdu is a compulsory subject for students until the second year of their Intermediate education. Students often do not realize the importance of the language or how useful it can be. They also face a lot of difficulty in securing high marks because most of their subjects are in English. Teach Pakistan noticed the gap in educational resources and created an online course for FSc Pre-Engineering part 2 students to help them study for the Urdu exam.
A Comprehensive Outline of the Urdu Part 2 Syllabus
The course contents for Urdu part 2 contain reading and writing of a formal and informal nature. The syllabus is much more advanced than the first year one with high-level words, idioms, and metaphors. Students need to work on their essay and letter writing and use the proper language to gain marks in the first two sections. Precis is also another important component of the syllabus and tests your ability to summarize the most important points from the passage using your own words. Comprehension skills are put to the test with the question answers from an unseen passage as well.
The last two sections of the Urdu exam of ICS part 2 contain questions from poetry and prose. The questions are meant to test the student’s knowledge of the lessons assigned in the syllabus. Any prose from Aangan to Anarkali can appear in the exam. The poetry section includes poems and ghazals by legendary poets like Allama Iqbal and Maulana Zafar Ali Khan. They will have to write notes on the authors as well as have the ability to explain the meaning of a word or emotions mentioned in a particular couplet.
