Punjab University Postpones Exams Scheduled for December 16-18

Punjab University has announced the postponement of all exams scheduled for December 16, 17, and 18, 2024.

According to a statement by the university spokesperson, the revised schedule for the postponed exams will be announced at a later date.

Meanwhile, schools across Punjab and the Islamabad Capital Territory remained closed today (Monday) due to the prevailing security situation.

On Sunday, the Punjab School Education Department had issued a notification stating, “In view of the prevailing situation in the province, it has been decided that all public and private schools in Punjab will remain closed on December 16, 2024 (Monday).”

The notification further clarified that all government offices would remain open and perform their functions as usual.

Similarly, Islamabad’s District Magistrate, Irfan Nawaz Memon, issued a notification yesterday announcing the closure of all public and private schools and colleges in the Islamabad Capital Territory on December 16, 2024.
