Karachi Board Grants New Extension for Matric Form Submission
The deadline for submitting matriculation exam forms has been extended a second time without a late fee.
Acting Director of Examinations, Zaheeruddin Bhutto, announced on Wednesday that the new submission window for examination forms for Class IX annual exams in 2025, covering both science and general groups, is from November 6 to November 19, 2024.
This extension applies to both regular and private candidates, allowing government schools to submit forms within this period without any late fees.
Bhutto stressed that this will be the final extension, and no further delays for form submissions will be permitted. As per the schedule set by the provincial education department, the 2025 matriculation exams are expected to take place in March.
Students who miss the deadline will incur a late fee, which will increase on a staggered basis. From November 20 to December 3, a late fee of Rs 500 will apply; from December 4 to December 17, the fee will rise to Rs 800; Rs 1,200 from December 18 to January 1, 2025; Rs 1,500 from January 2 to January 15; Rs 1,800 from January 16 to January 24; and Rs 2,500 for any submissions beyond this final date.
