The Punjab government has made a significant announcement for top-performing students. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved covering all educational expenses for position-holding students across all educational boards in Punjab.
Under this initiative approved by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the Punjab government will cover the educational expenses of 25,000 students.
Additionally, on the Chief Minister’s directive, a transport program for female students will be launched, and she has also approved the establishment of IT hubs in all districts of Punjab. Instructions have been given for necessary measures to be taken for the Chief Minister’s laptop scheme.
On the Chief Minister’s directive, a reward will also be given to one teacher of each student. The Chief Minister has also approved a student scholarship program.
The Punjab government will allocate an annual budget of Rs 125 billion to cover the educational expenses of 25,000 students, and in the first phase, buses will be provided to 60 girls’ colleges in Punjab.
