MDCAT 2022

The Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) will likely be administered on the same day throughout Pakistan by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).

The revised date will be formally announced in due course, according to reports, PMC is in communication with all public and private medical and dental universities in this respect.

For admission to MMBS and BDS programs from September 7–30 at approved examination centers around the nation, PMC initially announced the MDCAT contract last month.

However, a few days later, Pakistan was devastated by record-breaking monsoon floods, forcing PMC to rethink its first choice.

Additionally, due to flooding, the Department of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination (NHSRC) has requested that the PMC postpone the MDCAT 2022.

The ministry emphasized that 81 districts of Sindh, Baluchistan, Southern Punjab, Upper KP, and JP have been devastated by the floods, and significant infrastructure has been washed away in an official letter to the board of directors of military businesses.

The letter recommended that the PMC delay the MDCAT 2022 program to accommodate students from flood-affected areas.
