Teachers are Encouraged to Apply for Jobs at AIOU
Allama Iqbal Open University’s Online Learning Management System (OLMS) continues to promote its Digital Transformation program to improve the education services provided to students. AIOU is looking for highly motivated and experienced academics to work as part-time tutors.
According to AIOU policy, the goal of this program is to register candidates who have a strong understanding of online teaching tools and technology. All such applicants can apply for e-Registration at the following link: https://tr.aiou.edu.pk
AIOU has thousands of tutoring opportunities accessible. Tutors at AIOU review students’ assignments in AIOU’s Distance Learning Programs. Tutors are paid according to the assignment. Applicants can submit applications online using AIOU’s web page. AIOU tutorship registration closes on October 10th, 2022.
Criteria for AIOU Tutorship:
Matriculation/SSC: Master’s Degree with a minimum of a 2nd Class
HSSC and Intermediate: Masters Degree (minimum 2nd Class)
For an Associate Degree, a 2nd Class Masters Degree in the Relevant Subject is required.
A master’s or bachelor’s degree in the relevant topic is desired but not needed (4 years)
B.Ed. and ADE: MA Education (minimum 2nd Class) / M.Ed
It is necessary to have a relevant Ph.D., MS/MPhil degree.
AIOU Tutor Registration Requirements:
At least two years of teaching experience is required for government instructors in BPS 16 and above.
For government instructors working in grades 11 to 15, a minimum of three years of teaching experience is necessary.
Private school teachers must have post-qualification teaching experience.
The instructor must have two years of post-qualification experience in a reputable major school network, connected college, or degree-granting institution. Post-qualification teaching experience of one year
There is no requirement for Ph.D./MPhil degree holders to have teaching experience.
How to Apply for Tutoring at AIOU
Tutors/resource persons with validated fees do not need to apply again. They can, however, update their profiles by visiting https://tutor.aiou.edu.pk. An Rs. 1000- processing fee must be deposited at any ABL, UBL, or FWBL branch. Deposits can also be done at Easypaisa, Upaisa, Telenor, and U Bank branch locations. There is no need to mail the deposit slip because the applicant can keep it with him/herself. The deadline for e-registration is October 10th, 2022.
